Shield
The white shield symbolizes truth and ethics in the execution of the Battalion's duties. The yellow/gold bend denotes the nation's resources and the unit's unique ability of obligating them. The sword signifies the execution of military duties and continued support of the Warfighter. The black and white globe illustrates the Battalion's global deployment capability both day and night. The rampant lion represents the unit's European heritage and mission focus. The lion is in the colors of buff and red, the colors traditionally associated with Support units.
